Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control processes and procedures to monitor and inspect products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Quality Assurance: Developing and implementing quality assurance programs and systems to prevent defects and deviations from established quality standards.
- Quality Standards: Ensuring that products adhere to industry-specific quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality policies.
- Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and working with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigating and analyzing the root causes of product defects or quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Testing and Inspection: Overseeing product testing and inspection processes, including developing test plans, conducting tests, and interpreting results.
- Supplier Quality: Collaborating with suppliers to establish quality requirements and monitor the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Documentation: Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to quality control processes, test results, and corrective actions.
- Statistical Analysis: Utilizing statistical tools and methods to analyze data and identify trends or patterns that may affect product quality.
- Training: Providing training and guidance to manufacturing personnel to ensure they understand and follow quality control procedures.
- Audits: Conducting internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving a culture of continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
Experience
Proven experience in software quality assurance.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and shop drawings CMM experience preferred
ISIR Forms
Knowledge of database management systems such as Global Shop & Solid Works
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues effectively
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical findings clearly; capable of working collaboratively across teams to improve quality processes
