Quality Inspector

Nyhus Enterprises is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to help ensure our finished products meet customer requirements and quality specifications. This position performs final inspections, visual inspections, and product testing while maintaining accurate quality records.
The ideal candidate has previous quality inspection experience, understands engineering drawings and specifications, and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent work.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm or 10:00am - 8:30pm
Overtime: Opportunities available on Fridays
Wage Information: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Perform final inspections to confirm products meet applicable specifications
- Calculate sample sizes and verify that the correct sampling quantities are inspected
- Conduct 100% cosmetic visual inspections
- Perform product characteristic and performance testing
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and supporting documentation
- Analyze and present inspection and testing data as needed
- Identify and report nonconforming products
- Assist with the review and disposition of nonconforming materials
- Verify that inspection tools and testing equipment have current calibrations
- Manage and coordinate samples sent to third-party testing facilities
- Assist with loading and unloading parts when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
