SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Quality Technician is a hands‑on role responsible for ensuring safe, high‑quality plastic packaging through in‑process testing, inspections, and equipment verification across Blow Molding and Injection Molding operations. This role partners closely with Operations to ensure products meet customer specifications, food safety standards, and internal quality requirements while identifying, documenting, and driving resolution of quality non‑conformances. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance a career in manufacturing, quality, or engineering.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Perform in‑process inspections, measurements, and equipment audits to ensure compliance with customer and quality specifications
- Verify correct packaging, labeling, and traceability of finished goods
- Identify, document, and contain non‑conforming product to prevent customer impact
- Record quality checks, defects, and corrective actions using RedZone
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Verify sanitation and cleanliness of molding equipment per ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards
- Maintain and operate quality equipment such as scales, vision systems, leak detectors, and date coders
- Assist with new product launches, quality training, and specification reviews
- Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to reduce scrap, rework, and customer complaints
