Quality Management Specialist

This position is located within the Patent Issuance and Systems Division (PSID) of the Office of Data Management (ODM) in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The incumbent will serve as a Quality Management Specialist who will be responsible for analyzing programs and operations to validate productivity and efficiency, provide support, and make recommendations that will improve the effectiveness of business operations within the Office of Data Management.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is eligible under the Situational Telework Program per agency and business unit discretion/policy. Key responsibilities include: Conducting quality reviews, content analyses, and evaluations of work that involve processing patent applications for Publications and Grant issuance. Identifying problem areas and/or trends within the publication and issuance cycle. Recommending corrective actions to enhance the quality studies and recommends processing improvements.
