Position Overview
The Quality Manager is responsible for overall compliance with AAE’s quality system, including tools, work instructions, and inspections and to release only quality products meeting customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- ISO 9001 Compliance: Maintain ISO 9001 certification by ensuring QMS processes are implemented, monitored and improved; conduct internal audits and manage external audits.
- Quality Policy & Objectives: Establish and monitor quality objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and reporting performance to management. Develop, revise, and enforce quality policies, procedures, work instructions and control plans.
- · Process Management: Define, document, and optimize processes to ensure product/service conformity; integrate quality into all business processes. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, extrusion standards, and profile tolerances.
- Supplier Quality: Evaluate and manage supplier quality performance; ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
- Customer Focus: Respond to customer complaints, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance quality systems.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor QA/QC staff on quality standards, ISO requirements, and best practices.
- Data & Reporting: Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and present findings to the management team for decision-making.

- Ability to proficiently use and read measuring equipment.

- Strong Leadership and communication skills.
Experience Requirements:
- Three to five years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment.
- Post-high school education is preferred.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Six Sigma certification is preferred.
Working Environment:
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
