Quality Manager

About the role

At SMART FASTENING, we are looking for a person to fill the position of Quality Manager.

The functions and responsibilities to be fulfilled are:

What you'll do

• Being responsible for the integral quality management of customers, and carrying out its monitoring.
• To implement the systems necessary for production, processes, purchasing, and quality management, and to propose improvements aimed at satisfying customer needs.
• Participating in the Quality and Systems Management Committee, and carrying out the monitoring and compliance of the decisions adopted therein.
• Planning, preparing, and leading audits (customer, supplier, internal, and subcontractor audits, among others), as well as implementing and monitoring the corrective actions derived from them.
• Leading the approval and certification processes throughout the entire business unit.
• Participating in the definition of the Management Plan, specifying budgets, setting objectives, and designing action plans, always promoting the participation of team members.
• Monitoring the Management Plan, communicating results to the Management Committee, and promoting improvement actions.
• Defining, developing, and optimizing the management systems and processes of their area, promoting automation and digitalization.
• Managing the team under their responsibility (coordinating administrative aspects, promoting team development, ensuring appropriate working conditions, and looking after motivation and well-being).
• Keeping the team informed, both regarding general and strategic communication as well as day-to-day operational information.
• Acting as a role model for ERREKA's values and ensuring their fulfillment within their scope.

• Implementing the systems necessary for production, processes, purchasing, and quality management, proposing improvements aimed at satisfying customer needs.
• Participating in the Quality and Systems Management Committee, carrying out the monitoring and compliance of the decisions adopted.
• Participating in the definition of the Management Plan, establishing budgets, setting objectives, and designing action plans, promoting team participation at all times.
• Monitoring the Management Plan, communicating results to the Management Committee, and driving improvement actions.
• Defining, developing, and optimizing the management systems and processes of their area, fostering automation and digitalization.
• Managing the team, coordinating administrative aspects, promoting people's development, guaranteeing appropriate working conditions, and looking after the motivation and well-being of the team.
• Acting as a role model for ERREKA's values and guaranteeing their fulfillment within their scope.

What we're looking for

The profile we require for this position:

ACADEMIC TRAINING:

Engineering Degree (or equivalent) or University Degree in Quality (with experience)

EXPERIENCE:

At least 3 years of experience in this or another position in the area

LANGUAGES:

Basque and English

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of ISO and DIN standards applicable to the business sector.
• Knowledge of advanced quality management systems.
• Knowledge of process-based management.
• Knowledge of audits according to the ISO 9001 standard

Profile required for the position:

ACADEMIC TRAINING:

Degree in Engineering (or similar qualification) / University degree with experience in Quality.

Minimum 3 years of experience in this or another area position

Basque and English.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes

• Knowledge of process management.
• Audits according to ISO 9001 standard
