Quality Manager
Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
- Ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from contract review through manufacture, testing, delivery, and aftermarket support.
- Lead customer quality interactions, including audits, witness testing, concession requests, and quality performance reviews.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and support critical supplier audits.
- Ensure robust traceability of materials, components, and manufacturing records for subsea products.
- Implement, maintain, manage and improve all aspects of the Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards (ISO 9001 and API-Q1 where applicable)
- Manage all aspects of internal and external audits
- Management Representative for the Quality Management System
- Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products
- Lead quality team in investigations of non-conformances and customer issues
- Responsible for collecting quality data, data analysis, root cause analysis, reporting and continuous improvements in products, services and processes
- Responsible for final acceptance testing of all products
- Exercise authority to prevent shipment of non-conforming products
- Responsible for implementing the internal audit program for the Kirkbymoorside location, including coordination of training of internal auditors, preparing checklist/auditor guides, scheduling, conducting and reporting. Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for gaps identified in audits
- Train organisation on documented policy and procedures
- Support, develop and implement supplier quality assurance and control processes. Liaise with Supply Chain and provide support as needed on Supplier audits, Supplier performance evaluation KPIs and other aspects
- Supervise quality department personnel and manage, train, develop and motivate them to achieve overall quality goals and objectives.

- Maintain, improve and manage all aspects of the quality management system.
- Manage all internal and external audits and represent management for the Quality function.
- Lead quality control and inspection activities to guarantee quality of products and services.
- Successful maintenance of ISO 9001 certification and customer approvals.
- Continual improvement in supplier and internal quality performance.
