As the Quality Manager for the Concrete Systems Division, you will manage the quality process for the Division including process control, NCR management, supplier quality programs, auditing and ISO accreditation for the Danley, Reid and Ramset brands for both manufactured goods and purchased products across AU & NZ.
What you will do:
- Safety: ITW Leaders are Safety leaders first: conduct all work with a Safety first lense, identify Safety hazards and build plan to address
- ITW Business Model and Frameworks – To learn and utilise the ITW Business Model and Frameworks in the coordination of quality activities for the division using an 80/20 mindset and deployment of USa Tool
- ISO9001 audit lead – lead the process for all 3 brands to pass the annual ISO 9001 audits through engagement of all stakeholders, control measures and periodic auditing of the process including manufacturing sites & sub suppliers
- Non Conformance Reports – manage the NCR dashboard including root cause analysis and leading the investigations
- Document control – lead & manage the process document control for the manufacturing process & the product compliance documents
- Process – lead the process control systems working closely with engineering & operations on management of change for all product or process changes impacting the end user experience of quality. Process control includes systematic testing of samples & auditing the process.
- Traceability – Certificates of Conformance, Batch test Certs, linked to QC inspection for all products
- Lead & Manage: Lead, manage, coach, mentor and develop direct reports
What you will bring:
- Quality testing experience – raw material and finished goods and the operation of testing equipment
- The ability to conduct quality investigations for quality non conformances
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001:2015 system and its requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Team leadership or management is beneficial
- An engineering degree would be advantageous
- Qualification and demonstrated skills in continuous improvement methodologies including lean manufacturing.
