Quality Software Engineer
Summary
QA engineer with 2-3 years of experience who designs and executes manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications, tracks defects, and runs functional, regression, and smoke testing alongside developers. Core tools include Jira, Postman, Swagger, and Selenium, with SQL used for basic database validation.
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2 3 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications The candidate will be responsible for testing web and or mobile applications identifying defects and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing of web and or mobile applications
- Identify report and track bugs using defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Perform regression functional and smoke testing
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective
- Ensure timely delivery of quality releases
Required Skills
- 2 3 years of experience in Software Testing QA
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience in manual testing functional regression smoke testing
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools e g Jira
- Basic understanding of APIs and API testing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

- Basic knowledge of automation tools Selenium or similar
- Experience with API testing tools Postman Swagger
- Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of SQL for basic database validation
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
