Quality Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Perform quality control testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished agrochemical products.
Review laboratory results and provide timely reports to management.
Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) and maintain accurate laboratory records.
Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO standards, safety procedures, and company quality policies.
Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment, particularly High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems.
Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
Conduct chemical and physical analyses in accordance with approved testing methods and regulatory requirements.
Participate in internal audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory inspections.
Investigate non-conforming products and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience:
Proven hands-on experience operating and interpreting results from High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) equipment.
Experience with other analytical instruments such as GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, or FTIR is an added advantage.
3 - 5 years' experience in Quality Control within the agrochemical, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of analytical testing methods and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory documentation systems.
Good understanding of ISO quality management systems and laboratory best practices.
Ability to analyze laboratory data and prepare technical reports.

Mandatory Requirements:
Candidate must be willing and ready to relocate to the Lekki Free Zone axis, Lagos.
Experience in agrochemical or chemical manufacturing environments will be highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is compulsory.
