Job Description
ROLE / JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for conducting inspection of incoming/ in-process/ final product in assigned area to achieve quality goal, daily production target and cycle time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out inspection of incoming or in-process or final product and ensure products meeting requirements.
- Provide product accurate judgment and report promptly.
- Monitor and expedite all production lots to achieve minimum cycle time.
- Able to follow OCAP and escalation procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work areas.
- Ensure proper handover and communication from shift to shift.

- Participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
- Support stock count activities, when required.
- Cross QA areas training/ support, when required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work 12 hours rotating shift.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use email for communication.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Positive and Proactive working attitude. Ability to initiate without being asked.
- Team player. Ability to work well with others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with cross functional team.
- Experience in SAP, Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing principles will be added advantage.
- Working experience in Solar/ Semiconductors/ Electronics manufacturing industries will be added advantage.
- Ability for a 2nd / 3rd spoken language is an advantage.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Physical, Certificates, Etc):
- No color blindness.
- Physically fit.
Qualification
- NITEC or equivalent.
- Min “O” level or “SPM” with min 3 years of experience for seniority post.
