Quality Supervisor (HPEC)

JST is seeking a dedicated Quality Supervisor to join our HPEC Quality team in an exempt role reporting to the Quality Manager and Operations Manager. In this position, you will provide essential quality support for mold, die, and automation parts design and build while ensuring that development and production readiness qualification requirements are fully met. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain top-tier quality, customer support, and service.

Your core responsibilities will include managing and mentoring a team of Quality Technicians and Engineers by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, evaluating performance, and providing training and cross-training to enhance team skills and efficiency. You will maintain our Quality Management System and associated documentation to meet IATF and ISO standards, perform internal audits, manage department budgets including overtime, and coordinate Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs/Ringishos) as needed. You will also oversee multi-team collaboration and qualification activities for scheduling, runs, assembly, inspection, and shipment of molded, stamped, and assembled parts. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Sales, you will promote overall product quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage Measurement System Analysis including capability studies and Gage R&R, oversee First Article Inspection and in-process inspections, develop quality plans, perform data analysis, lead 8D analysis and 5Whys for root cause corrective actions, and facilitate 6S standards throughout the facility.
