Quality Technical Specialist
Manage Non-Quality Events (NQE)
Monitor and record NQEs from the production line
Review, analyse and validate NQE contents
Execute immediate containment actions for NQE e.g., hold lot in Manufacturing Execution System (MES), etc.
Prepare and consolidate quality issue review topics (NQE/MRB updates) prior to daily meeting with Yield Dept
Prepare information package required for MRB (e.g. event chronology, preliminary investigation and analysis results, etc.) to facilitate MRB meetings
Track, follow up, and report Quality Engineering activities (e.g., NQEs, MRBs).
Monitor product through Quality Gate (QG)
Monitor and record QGs results from the production line
Perform lab analysis (e.g., SEM / EDX) on QG failed parts
Participate in task forces (defect analysis, risk assessments)
Following the detection of QG failed lots, proposes short-term actions to ensure integrity of the quality of products and / or processes (i.e., equipment shutdown, etc.)
Others
Data Analysis: Extracts, plots, and analyzes capability and trend data using JMP and Klarity
Reporting: Prepares and updates Quality Engineering reports and KPIs
Ad Hoc Support: Provides support to engineers on additional tasks as required
Educational Qualifications :
Diploma – Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Higher NITEC – Minimum 3 years relevant experience
NITEC – Minimum 6 years relevant experience
Technical / job knowledge :
Knowledge in Quality tools and methods (SPC/MSA/FMEA, Problem-Solving & Audit skills) is an advantage
Knowedge in statistical tools (e.g. JMP, Klarity, etc.) is an added advantage
Knowledge and skills in lab (SEM/EDX, etc.) is an added advantage
Knowledge of semiconductor products & manufacturing processes
