Quality Technician-C Shift (50786)
Summary
Inspects machined parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards using CMMs, gauges, and software like Microsoft Office.
Overview:
A Quality Technician’s core role is to inspect parts through defined intervals assuring product quality in accordance with the Quality Management System for Impact CNC.
Job Duties
- Co-ordinate and complete daily quality inspections
- Issue approvals for changeovers when product conformance is verified.
- Review non-conforming material regularly and dispositioning material by supplier.
- Ensure final quality audits for outgoing products are completed in accordance with product specifications.
- Conduct layered process audits as directed.
- Creating and updating process work instructions to inspect products.
- Cleaning, calibrating, and loading parts on the CMMs to ensure daily quality inspections take place.
- Issuing training opportunities as applicable to manufacturing members to resolve performance issues.
- Ensuring that gauges are clean and calibrated for use for manufacturing associates.

Essential Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, squat, twist, and bend to file.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a climate controlled, office environment
- Occasionally lifting upto thirty pounds
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
