Quality Technician

Summary

Performs in-line inspections and resolves quality issues in a manufacturing workshop, using gauges and basic office tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Position Summary:
The Process Quality Technician’s primarily responsibility is in-line inspection/audit and disposing quality issue in the work shop.
He/ She needs more team work with operators, production supervisors, ME technicians and MT technicians. He/ She needs to obey PQE and QC leader’s assignment.

Description

• Familiar with measuring dimension and various gauges, such as CMM/roughness gauge/ profile tester/ micrometer, etc.
• Acknowledge the basic information about Root cause analysis /process audit /5S/PDCA /HSE etc.
• Know non-conformance material dispose skill.
• Basic application about MS Office, such as Excel, Word, PPT.
• Escalation and process solving with X-function team
• Quality continuous improvement and Kaizen
• Support the other work for engineer and manager
• Report and track MRB rail.
• Other: Kaizen/Knowledge sharing/5S/Standard work/Rapid problem solving/Build in Quality.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Industry/Functional Knowledge, etc. ):

• 1 - 2 years relevant working experience for quality relative.
• Significant experience in process control, inspection techniques and manufacturing
• Diploma for Secondary Technical School or above.
• Experienced in reading drawing.
• Experienced communication in X-function with other departments.
• Open and optimistic mindset.
Skills(Computer, Communication, Leadership, Behavior, etc):
• Good communications skills and ability to work with engineer on quality issues
• Good computer operating skill in MS Office environment.
• Determination to grow in an environment that awards hard work and excellence in role
