About the Position:
We are looking for a Scrap analysis technician (m/f) to join the Quality dpt. in Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Quality Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Scrap analysis technician at Marelli, you will analyze defects, identify root causes, and report findings to Quality Engineers. You will support corrective actions and help maintain high production quality.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Analyze defective parts and customer returns to identify root causes.
- Perform measurements, tests, and evaluate results using relevant equipment.
- Report findings, deviations, and 8D/Kaizen outputs to Quality Engineers.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Technical secondary education and experience with measuring equipment, quality control, and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of quality tools and methods, including SPC, PCP, FMEA, PPAP, and 8D.
- Support production quality, including stopping production or arranging sorting when required.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality requirements.
- Experience with 8D, Kaizen, SPC, FMEA, and PPAP tools.
