Job Title: QA/QC Officer (Manufacturing)

Job Scope:

1. Incoming Quality InspectionInspect raw materials and components upon arrival to ensure they meet specifications before production use.Reject and report non-conforming materials to relevant departments.
2. In-Process Quality ControlMonitor production processes on the line to ensure products meet quality standards at each stage.Conduct periodic checks (dimensional, visual, functional) during production runs.Identify defects early and alert supervisors/production team to prevent mass defects.
3. Final Product InspectionPerform final inspection and testing before packaging/shipment.Ensure finished goods comply with customer specifications and company quality standards.Approve or reject batches based on inspection results.
4. Documentation & ReportingRecord inspection results, defect rates, and quality data accurately.Prepare daily/weekly QC reports for management review.Maintain traceability records (batch numbers, inspection logs, etc.).
5. Non-Conformance HandlingIdentify, isolate, and label defective products.Investigate root causes of quality issues together with production team.Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
6. Compliance & StandardsEnsure production processes comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and customer requirements.Support internal and external audits.
7. Calibration & EquipmentEnsure testing/measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges) are properly calibrated and maintained.
8. Continuous ImprovementWork with production and engineering teams to improve product quality and reduce defect rates.Participate in quality improvement projects (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
9. Training SupportAssist in training production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.
