Responsibilities

Backend System Development

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and JVM-based technologies.

• Build maintainable system components that support high-performance and reliable applications.

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

API & Service Integration

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that power frontend features and external integrations.

• Ensure services follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability.

• Continuously improve API design, documentation, and service maintainability.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver stable and high-quality product features.

• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to improve engineering quality.

Requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with strong knowledge of the Java ecosystem.

• Hands-on experience with JVM frameworks such as Spring Boot, Jersey, or Ktor.

• Experience using Git-based workflows, CI pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI), and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience building event-driven systems, including message queues or streaming platforms such as Kafka or MQ.

• Familiarity with caching systems, particularly Redis.

• Strong understanding of data structures, concurrency, and multithreaded programming in Java.

• Knowledge of distributed system design principles.

• Experience with additional languages such as Kotlin, JavaScript, or Python.

• Exposure to crypto, blockchain, Web3, or trading-related systems is a strong advantage.
