What You Will Do

• Lead and develop the local IT support team, including workload prioritization, service coverage, and issue escalation.

• Manage daily site IT operations, incidents, service requests, changes, and recurring technical issues.

• Serve as the primary IT contact for local leadership, business functions, and engineering teams.

• Gather and prioritize local IT requirements and coordinate solutions with regional and HQ IT teams.

• Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and site connectivity.

• Provide hands-on support for server rooms, racks, cabling, network equipment, and infrastructure deployments.

• Support Windows endpoints, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, virtualization, storage, backup, Microsoft 365, and related services.

• Support engineering lab infrastructure, connectivity, equipment deployment, and technical incidents.

• Manage local IT assets, inventory, procurement coordination, deployment, refresh, warranty, and disposal.

• Lead or support site IT projects, including planning, testing, implementation, documentation, and operational handover.

• Coordinate vendors and service providers and maintain accurate IT procedures, diagrams, and configuration records.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 7+ years of enterprise IT experience covering infrastructure, networking, end-user services, and IT operations.

• Experience leading a local IT team, site support function, or technical operation.

• Strong networking knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience with LAN/WAN, wireless, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.

• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, virtualization, storage, and backup.

• Experience with IT service delivery, asset lifecycle management, and infrastructure projects.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with remote HQ teams.

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering, R&D, manufacturing, or lab environments.

• Experience with Cisco networking, VMware/ESXi, Linux, PowerShell, Ansible, or automation.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices and Jira or similar service management platforms.

• Hands-on experience with server-room operations, rack and stack, structured cabling, video conferencing, and workstation deployment.
