【Role】
This role is responsible for building and evolving the Warehouse Execution System (WES) layer that bridges warehouse operations, manufacturing processes, and automation systems. The engineer will focus on designing execution logic for material flow, kitting, and production feeding, while ensuring seamless coordination with WCS and shopfloor systems.
You will own the development of scalable, service-oriented solutions in C#/.NET that support complex, real-world workflows across warehousing and production environments. This includes translating operational processes into system logic, enabling real-time execution control, and driving system reliability and flexibility as business needs evolve.
The role requires strong system thinking to connect software, automation equipment, and operational workflows, and plays a key part in shaping the next generation of smart factory execution platforms.
【Responsibility】
Design and develop WES (Warehouse Execution System) to orchestrate material flow, picking, and execution processes across warehouse and production environments
Implement business logic for end-to-end execution flows, including material picking, kitting, assembly feeding, and finished goods handling
Integrate WES with WCS, MES, and other upstream/downstream systems to enable seamless execution and data synchronization
Build and maintain core modules such as work order execution, material staging, feeding/return processes, and inventory transitions
Support complex workflows such as multi-stage assembly feeding, sub-assembly inbound/outbound, and cross-floor material movement
Develop service-based architecture in C# (.NET) to support scalable and maintainable execution systems
Collaborate with automation systems (AGV, conveyor, BTS stations) to align execution logic with physical material flow
Enhance system flexibility to support evolving operational scenarios (e.g., kitting strategies, dynamic routing, curing/material handling)
Ensure high system reliability, accuracy of material tracking, and real-time responsiveness
Work closely with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, warehouse operations, automation, IT) to deliver integrated solutions
【Requirements】
Must Have
3+ years of experience in C# / .NET backend development
Experience designing and developing business-critical systems (e.g., WES, WMS, MES, or similar execution systems)
Strong understanding of warehouse or manufacturing execution processes (material flow, kitting, staging, inventory control)
Experience building service-oriented or microservices-based systems
Familiarity with relational databases (MSSQL or equivalent) and transactional system design
Experience in system integration via APIs or messaging
Nice to Have
Experience with WES implementation or warehouse execution workflows
Knowledge of automation system integration (WCS, AGV, PLC, conveyor systems)
Experience in complex workflow orchestration or rule-based execution engines
Familiarity with event-driven architecture or message queues
Understanding of production processes such as assembly feeding, kitting, or material preparation
Experience with Kubernetes or cloud-based deployment
