About the Role

We are looking for a Quant Developer with strong Excel experience to join our Pre-Trade Technology team.

This role focuses on developing and supporting real-time pricing and analytics models used directly by trading desks. You will play an important part in maintaining existing Excel-based models while gradually helping transition them into modern internal platforms.

You will work closely with traders and technology teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing to practical, business-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support pricing models, with a strong focus on Excel-based solutions
  • Maintain and enhance existing models used by trading desks
  • Work with front-office users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Support real-time pricing and analytics systems
  • Contribute to the gradual evolution of models into strategic internal platforms
  • Assist with development in C++ on the Quant library.
  • Assist with development in Python, or Java on Micro-service
  • Ensure models and outputs are reliable and suitable for internal and external distribution

Work Arrangement

  • This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, with three days per week in the office.
  • The role is offered primarily as a permanent contract (Umowa o Pracę – UoP).
  • Salary range: 20,000 PLN – 40,000 PLN (depending on experience and contract type).

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience working with Excel, ideally in the context of pricing or analytics
  • Background in pricing models or quantitative analytics (any asset class)
  • Exposure to real-time or event-driven environments
  • Ability to work with business users and translate requirements into solutions
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and collaborative mindset

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Some exposure to C++, Python, or Java
  • Experience working with trading desks or in financial services
  • Knowledge of asset classes (e.g. FX, rates, commodities)
  • Interest in moving from Excel-based development into modern platforms
