Quantamental Research Analyst

Summary

Research ETF pricing and trading strategies, analyze corporate actions, build prediction models, and generate trade ideas using Python and financial datasets.

You will research ETF pricing and trading strategies, analyze corporate actions and special situations, determine fair value, generate trade ideas, improve dividend predictions, study datasets and asset prices, develop prediction models, and identify opportunities from macroeconomic events and market news.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with quantitative traders on ETF pricing and trading strategy research
  • Analyze the fundamental implications of corporate actions and special situations
  • Determine fair value and generate trade ideas
  • Improve dividend predictions and analyze their impact on equity indices and futures
  • Study internal and external datasets and their relationships with asset prices
  • Develop prediction models and actionable use cases
  • Work with quantitative developers to productionize, automate, and scale research and trading processes
  • Monitor macroeconomic events and market news to identify trading opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 3–6 years of experience in buy-side or sell-side research, proprietary trading, ETF or index research, or corporate actions analysis
