Overview

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join a technology-focused team in Singapore. The role involves building, maintaining, and improving high-performance production systems, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and system performance.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to support production deployments, resolve live system issues, and continuously improve engineering quality across critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production systems and related applications.
• Support the deployment and continuous improvement of new system features and workflows.
• Ensure the stability and reliability of live production environments.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, including time-sensitive issues affecting system availability or performance.
• Optimize system performance across computation, storage, networking, and hardware resources.
• Improve service reliability through monitoring, automation, tooling, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development and production lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in either
  • C++ with at least one scripting language
  • Python 3 with at least one strongly typed language such as Java, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with the full lifecycle of production or online services, including development, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of system reliability, performance optimization, and production engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Git, code review, CI/CD, and developer tooling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
