Quantitative Developer
Summary
Build and maintain high-performance, distributed systems for global trading and data processing, ensuring reliability and uptime in a short-term role.
- Hands-on design and development of high-performance, distributed systems that enable global trading and multi-petabyte data processing.
- Driving reliability and uptime improvements.
- Delivering individual and group project work with a high degree of ownership, including cross-team and stakeholder communication
- This is a short term assignment for approximately 2 months
Job Requirements
- Experience designing and building backend distributed systems and low level infrastructure.
- Demonstrable experience designing for reliability (SLOs etc) and observability in distributed production systems
- Deep proficiency in one or more of Python, C++, Rust.
- Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail. You break down complex problems clearly and build things to last.
- High agency - you take ownership, follow through and hold yourself accountable
- Genuine curiosity about our business domain and a drive to find new ways to add value.
- Overall experience mid to senior level
