About the role

From the Investment Management team at the Barcelona offices, we want to incorporate a Quantitative Manager with knowledge of derivatives and sophisticated financial products.

Valuable experience in programming, database management, and knowledge of investment software programs.

We are looking for Quant, Mathematician, Engineer, and Physicist profiles.

What you'll do

• Their main mission will be: to collaborate with the team that manages the insurance company's investment portfolio.
• Analysis, proposal, execution, and monitoring of market operations.
• Management of the investment portfolio considering profitability and risk factors, accounting, capital consumption, and coverage of the company's liabilities.
• Coordination with different areas of the company and the Group (CaixaBank, BPI).
• Participation in cross-functional projects to evolve current management capabilities. Implementation of new IT tools to manage investment portfolios.
• Collaboration in the development of the company's new products.

Requirements

• University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.
• Desirable Master's in financial markets and instruments or similar.
• Must have professional experience in Asset Management, preferably in insurance companies or bank finance departments.
• Minimum C1 level
• Valuable knowledge of programming in R, Python, C++, etc. and in database management languages (SQL).
• Desirable knowledge of risk management and/or control tools (SimCorp, Kondor, Murex, Mysys, Adaptive, Bloomberg)
• Knowledge of fixed income.
• It is essential to possess:
