A quantity surveyor prepares cost estimates, monitors site progress, and coordinates with contractors to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.
1. Prepare cost estimates, quotations and work proposals to support project budgeting and planning.
2. Conduct site verification, perform actual measurements and carry out quantity take-offs for term contracts.
3. Monitor site progress against project schedule.
4. Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues.
