Quantity Surveyor

• Identify credible vendors & suppliers for materials required for production
  
• Determine project costs (materials & workmanship) after receiving/preparing cutting list for specific projects
  
• Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs for ongoing and upcoming projects
  
• Prompt costing of materials for new jobs after receipt of briefs or drawings
  
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to factory/site and ensure it is in the right quantity and quality.
  
• Keep and update records of purchases, invoices and update databases of materials/stock
  
• Coordinate project works and efforts
  
• Other task as may be assigned from time to time
  

Requirements

· At least 1-3 years verifiable experience as Quantity Surveyor and Procurement in the furniture industry

· Highly creative

· Good use of Microsoft office tools

· Good confidence and basic negotiating skill/experience

· Basic knowledge of vendor sourcing, market survey
