QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Job Summary
Support contract management by administering pre-contract and post-contract activities including procurement, tender bidding, pricing, cost control, measurement, coordination, and client reporting to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Administer pre-contract and post-contract activities including procurement, tender bidding, pricing, cost control, measurement, coordination, and meeting facilitation to support project delivery
- Support the Contract Manager by verifying accuracy and timeliness of tender documentation, Sub Contracts Documents, and Consultant’s Appointments
- Prepare detailed tender analysis including pricing, drawings, and specifications to compare and appoint subcontractors effectively
- Coordinate procurement arrangements and scheduling with the project site team to ensure smooth operations
- Attend site meetings to report to clients on variations, costing, and payment issues, ensuring clear communication and resolution
- Manage submission of progress payment claims and Variation Orders to clients, including pricing for client Variation Enquiries
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant Tender or Project Quantity Surveyor experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying from a university recognized by the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV)
- Familiarity with Building and Civil Projects
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Flexible mindset with ability to multitask effectively
