Quantity Surveyor
Pre-Contract Services
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies.
- Develop project budgets through all design stages.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, tender documents and specifications.
- Advise clients on procurement strategy and contract selection.
- Conduct value engineering and cost optimization.
- Manage tender process including queries, evaluations and award recommendations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and clients during design.
Post-Contract Services
- Administer contracts under PSSCOC, SIA and FIDIC where applicable.
- Assess progress claims and prepare payment certificates.
- Evaluate variations, negotiate claims and settle final accounts.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow andcost forecasts.
- Prepare commercial and cost reports.
- Assess EOT and contractual claims.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Provide contractual advice and commercial risk management.
- Support dispute avoidance and contract administration.
- Monitor procurement and contractual compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Lead QS consultancy services for assigned projects.
- Attend client, design and site meetings.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities.
Project Experience
- Commercial, residential, healthcare, institutional and industrial buildings.
- Roads, bridges, MRT, utilities, drainage and other civil infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–8 years for Quantity Surveying.
- Strong pre- and post-contract consultancy experience.
- Knowledge of Singapore construction contracts and regulations.
- Experience in cost planning, tendering, contract administration and final accounts.
- SISV and/or RICS membership is advantageous.
