Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

You will manage project costing and administration by interpreting construction drawings, preparing quotations and contracts, and coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings and measurements accurately to support project planning
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, cost estimation, and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate project costing
• Prepare project quotations and contracts to facilitate client agreements and project initiation
• Compile project administration and documentation, including preparation of sub-contracts, variation orders, interim valuations, and final accounts to maintain project records
• Coordinate and assist Sales, Site Supervisors, Technical, and Production Departments to support seamless project execution
• Perform assigned administrative duties to support overall project and departmental functions

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Structural, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively with both English and Chinese-speaking associates and stakeholders (language proficiency required to support communication within the company and project teams)
Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and strong problem-solving skills to enhance project accuracy and efficiency
