We have an amazing opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Quantity Surveying function for the business nationally, working within the Projects and Maintenance Department.

You Bring:

• BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying
• 7 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with construction projects

A Bonus To Have:

• Project management experience

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Estimating and cost planning for various projects.
• Procurement advice relating to projects.
• Tender document preparation and reporting.
• Contract administration and cost control.
• Interim valuations.
• Records the results of surveys, verifies the accuracy of data, and prepares plots, maps, and reports.
• Cost reporting and recommendations based on data.
• Pricing of Project with current market related rates.
• Communicating with Site Managers for updates on Budgets.
• Final account preparation.
• Contract and dispute advice.
• Appointment and co-ordination of other consultants as required.
• To attend meetings and undertake site visits.
• Ad hoc task and requests.
