Job Description (Responsibilities)

  • Cost Estimation & Tendering: Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

  • Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and assist in cost reporting.

  • Contract Administration: Handle progress claims, evaluate variation orders, and prepare final accounts.

  • Procurement: Source suppliers/subcontractors, perform price comparisons, and assist in contract awards.

  • Vendor & Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual and financial matters.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering industry.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD (knowledge of Glodon or Cubicost is a plus).

  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of local contract conditions, building materials, and measurement standards.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; detail-oriented.
