Quantity Surveyor (Lighting Control System)

Job Summary

You will manage customer and tender inquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to deliver lighting control system solutions that meet project requirements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and tender inquiries by reviewing tender documents and generating timely quotations before tender deadlines
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to prepare detailed and accurate quotations
• Communicate with engineers to configure lighting control systems according to customer and tender specifications, enabling precise project costing
• Monitor project pipelines by following up with customers and tender processes, and report progress to Sales teams and senior management
• Support Sales and Engineering teams by preparing and submitting required documentation, including drawings and certificates
• Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of products aligned with customer deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Engineering-related discipline preferred
• 3 to 5 years of quantity surveying or relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems and lighting control system functions is advantageous
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and interpreting technical schematic drawings preferred
• Demonstrated self-initiative, independence, strong work ethic, and team leadership skills preferred
