Job Summary
Join a well-established local M&E company as a Quantity Surveyor (M&E), responsible for estimating, tender preparation, procurement, and client liaison to support project delivery and cost management.
Responsibilities
- Estimate quantities and prepare pricing for M&E projects to support tender submissions and procurement decisions
- Compile and prepare comprehensive tender documents and materials for client submission
- Communicate effectively with clients and contractors to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues
- Source suppliers and conduct price and quality comparisons to optimize procurement outcomes
- Review M&E drawings, specifications, and related documents to ensure accurate quantity measurement and compliance
- Prepare progress payment claims and final accounts to facilitate project financial management
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity take-off and quantification from drawings
- Extensive M&E subcontractor quantity surveying experience, especially in ACMV and electrical works
- Project management experience is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Positive and responsible working attitude
- Ability to manage stress and work beyond normal hours when necessary
