This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-renowned consultancy, known for delivering high-impact advisory services to blue-chip clients across the infrastructure and engineering sectors.

Operating from over 110 offices worldwide, the company has a legacy that dates back to 1983. While their roots are in forensic engineering, they have evolved into a forward-thinking consultancy offering expert guidance across construction, maintenance, operations, and sustainability of the built environment.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a specialist commercial and contract advisory team supporting clients and principal contractors on complex infrastructure and engineering programmes throughout the UK.

This is a hybrid role—typically three days on-site or at client offices and two days working from home. The consultancy provides commercial support from early procurement stages through to post-contract financial compliance and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare tender and contract documentation

· Undertake cost analysis and feasibility assessments

· Support procurement strategies and tender return evaluations

· Provide guidance on contract forms (e.g., NEC3/4) and risk/value management

· Advise clients on contractual claims and financial compliance

· Produce detailed commercial reports and valuations

· Support stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary project teams

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

· Minimum 3 years' experience for Intermediate QS roles and 5 years for QS level

· Background in infrastructure, nuclear, oil & gas, or major engineering projects

· Proven experience administering NEC contracts (NEC3 or NEC4 preferred)

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

· Experience with contract management platforms such as CEMAR (desirable)

· Working toward RICS chartership is advantageous

What’s on Offer

· Competitive base salary with annual review potential

· Car allowance

· Generous employer pension scheme

· Private healthcare and life insurance

· Maternity/paternity benefits and childcare salary sacrifice scheme

· 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

· Laptop and mobile phone provided

· Full support for RICS APC via a structured in-house programme with trained assessors and counsellors

· Director-led structure ensuring ongoing mentorship and senior support

This is a unique opportunity to join a global leader in technical consultancy and take on a hands-on role delivering strategic commercial support on some of the UK’s most complex infrastructure projects.
