Quarkus Developer
- 3+ years of backend development in Java, with strong recent experience in Quarkus
- Solid grasp of OIDC/OAuth2 and RBAC design, ideally with Keycloak
- Experience designing event-driven or streaming architectures (Kafka, or gRPC bidirectional streaming) — comfortable with reasoning about durability, replay, and ordering guarantees
- Experience building systems with strict audit/compliance requirements — financial services, healthcare, or another regulated domain
- Strong API design instincts (REST and/or gRPC) and comfort owning a service end-to-end: data model, API, testing, deployment
- Familiarity with containerized deployment (Docker/Kubernetes) inside enterprise network constraints (VPCs, egress allowlisting, private registries)
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — GKE, IAM, VPC networking, and Cloud KMS or equivalent — sufficient to deploy and operate the control plane in a locked-down enterprise GCP environment
