R-544780 Clinical Training & Education Manager – Surgery, CASAJ-TWHK (APAC)
We are seeking a Clinical Training & Education Manager to join our Surgery business in the CASAJ-TWHK region. This regional role focuses on building strong internal clinical capability for sales & marketing, partnering with Marketing to shape education programs for healthcare professionals (HCPs), and supporting early phase product launches through structured case enablement.
Given the focus on clinical capability building, market assessment based on unmet clinical needs, and early phase launch case enablement, candidates with formal medical training are strongly preferred.
This role is designed to enable independence—developing Sales and Marketing teams so they can confidently and competently support clinical discussions and procedures over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Clinical Capability Building
Design and deliver regional clinical training programs to upgrade Sales and Marketing teams’ clinical knowledge, procedural understanding, and disease state expertise.
Develop structured clinical learning pathways (foundational to advanced) aligned with role expectations and market maturity.
Lead onboarding, certification, and continuous education programs to ensure consistent capability across CASAJ markets.
Implement train‑the‑trainer frameworks to enable scalable, country‑level execution.
Equip Sales teams to engage confidently in clinical discussions and transition toward independent case support, where appropriate.
Clinical Insight & Market Opportunity Assessment
Partner with Regional Marketing Managers to assess new market and growth opportunities based on unmet clinical needs.
Provide clinical input to support:
Portfolio expansion and prioritization
Product positioning and value propositions
Launch and market entry strategies
Translate clinical insights into actionable recommendations for commercial and marketing teams
Launch Case Support & Sales Enablement
Provide targeted, time‑limited case support during early‑phase product launches or entry into new clinical segments.
Use early case involvement as a coaching and enablement platform, progressively building Sales capability.
Define and execute clear transition plans to shift case support responsibility from central support to trained Sales teams.
Reduce long‑term dependency on central clinical support by embedding capability locally.
HCP Education Design (In Partnership with Marketing)
Closely work with Regional marketing to design clinically robust HCP education programs, including learning objectives, curricula, and educational frameworks.
Ensure programs are clinically credible, educationally sound, and consistent across markets.
Support adaptation of global education assets to fit regional and local clinical practice needs.
Qualifications
Education
Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, or related field required if not medically trained
Experience
7–10+ years of experience in clinical training, education, procedural support, or clinical‑commercial roles within medical device or pharmaceutical industries
Strong experience working with Sales and Marketing teams
Prior exposure to surgery or procedure‑based portfolios highly desirable
Experience operating in regional or multi‑country APAC roles preferred
