Provides respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, including general care, critical care, and emergency room, while collaborating with healthcare teams and following clinical pathways.
Overview
The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (“RCP II”) is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient careand teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team,participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/planof care to guide patient care delivery.
Responsibilities
The RCP II must demonstrate profiency in the following areas: Adult General Care areas (Telemetry and Med-Surge), Critical Care Areas (Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular Unit), and Emergenc Room.
Qualifications
Current CA RCP License
Current Healthcare Provider BLS
Current ACLS
Current PALS, within ninety (90) days of hire
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
