ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Extract Ra-226 from crude sources.
• Purify Ra-226 from crude sources.
• Optimize processes to minimize Radium-226 loss.
• Develop efficient recycle methods for cyclotron bombarded Ra-226.
TRAVEL
• May be required to different sites such as mines etc.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree with + 5 years work experience in radiochemical separations of radiometals.
• Experience working with Radium
• Experience in purification of actinides or radio lanthanides.
• Excellent Time Management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Continual learner and has a curiosity for science
• Must have the flexibility to work various shifts/rotate schedules as required
