R&D Engineer – Backend

Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 per month

About the role

Develop and maintain backend systems and services for AI Agent products. Design, implement, and optimize high-performance backend solutions working with C++ and Transformer-based technologies to support AI-related applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems and services for AI Agent products

• Design, implement, and optimize high-performance backend solutions

• Work with C++ and Transformer-based technologies to support AI-related applications

• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective optimization solutions

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable products

• Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve system performance and stability

• Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to technical innovation

About you

• Strong proficiency in C++

• Good understanding of Transformer architecture and related technologies

• Strong understanding of application performance and optimization

• Solid programming and software design skills

• Strong code quality awareness and attention to detail

• Passion for new technologies and continuous learning

• Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and initiative

• Experience with personal technical projects or open-source contributions is an added advantage

• Fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation or candidates with around 2 years of relevant experience welcome to apply
