About the Role
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented R&D Executive to support formulation development, blending trials, raw material planning and product optimisation. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with numbers, formulations, Excel and production processes.
🔬 What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and optimise blending formulations using available raw materials
- Calculate ingredient ratios to achieve finished products that meet required specifications and quality standards
- Adjust formulations based on raw material availability, properties and stock levels
- Perform calculations for blending, yield, material consumption and production quantities
- Monitor raw material inventory and recommend suitable materials for blending
- Maintain accurate formulation records, calculations and inventory data
- Use Microsoft Excel to analyse formulations, stock levels and material consumption
- Work closely with Production and Quality teams to conduct blending trials and verify finished products
- Investigate formulation variances and recommend appropriate adjustments
- Support cost optimisation while maintaining required product standards
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas/lookups/Pivot Tables)
- Good understanding of inventory management and material planning
- Able to manage and track multiple formulations simultaneously
- Must be comfortable with longer working hours to support production and business needs.
