- Maintain and maintenance hardware related to the psychrometric chamber and test stands to reduce and eliminate down time.
- Work with the Lab Systems Manager with LabSys scheduling software functionality
- Communicating with maintenance department to ensure PM of chamber equipment is completed
- Assist with all hardware functions (DAQ and Hardware Panels that run chamber)
- Assist in maintaining report templates and reports generated from testing.
- Work with the Lab Systems Manager with RTS integration to all chambers test locations to RTS
- Assist in maintaining LabSys software and all test locations functionality in LabSys.
- Work with Lab Systems Manager and Lab Requirements Analyst in maintaining equipment calibration and all associated records and certificates.
- Assist Lab Systems Manager with all data management: collection during testing, display during testing, and reporting after completed test.
- Assist with training all associates on pertinent lab functionality ensuring the R&D Lab team has all they need to perform testing (Training, taking feedback and making changes coming from R&D engineers, NPD engineers, lab techs, etc.)
- Assist Lab Systems Manager with lab equipment management and operations to align with Intertek’s SATELLITE™ program requirements.
- Work with Lab Systems Manager and Lab Engineers taking requirements and building test plans based on customer requests.
- Assist with Chamber 1 training as well as Chamber 3 & 4 training to ensure all techs understand AHRI and ASHRAE standards for test set up and testing
- Own DAQ set up and layout and instrumentation being connected to each chamber
- Programming experience specific to Codesys, C#, C++ and C
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to work alone
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite
- Microsoft SQL, IIS and VBA programming experience
- Strong decision making, organizational and analytical problem-solving skills
- Electrical knowledge and electronic experience
- PLC programming experience (Carel and Tracer TU)
- Proficient in SQL, C++, C# and Python
- HVAC Experience
- Technical Documentation Experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand on your feet for 8+ hours
- Good visual and spatial perception.
- Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
