R&D Laboratory Officer (Chemist)

About:

Our client are looking for a motivated R&D Officer to join their team. This role focuses on the development and formulation of adhesive products, with opportunities to contribute to innovative projects and provide technical expertise to support our operations.

Location:

• Tuas (Transport pickup available at Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay Jurong Point)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing and evaluation of trading products to ensure meet the required quality and performance standard.

• Prepare test plans, record experimental data, analyse results and prepare technical reports.

• Prepare or translate MSDS / TDS / QC Reports / Testing Reports by 3rd Party.

• Maintain documentation for work procedures in accordance with ISO standards.

• All other ad-hoc duties as assigned by R&D Manager and the Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering.

• Minimum 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing environment.

• Experience in the adhesive, paint, and chemical industry is added advantages.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
