Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead the design and development of power supply products for our OEM/ODM manufacturing business. Our products include switching power supplies, adapters, chargers, transformers, and related electronic solutions for global customers.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in power electronics design, solid project management capability, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of switching power supplies, adapters, chargers, transformers, and related power electronic products
• Manage the full product development cycle from concept, prototyping, testing, validation, certification, to mass production
• Review circuit design, PCB layout, thermal solutions, EMI/EMC performance, and product reliability
• Collaborate with customers, sales, program management, and factory teams on technical requirements and project execution
• Support OEM/ODM projects for international customers across consumer, industrial, and electronics applications
• Drive engineering problem-solving, cost optimization, product improvement, and design quality enhancement
• Coordinate product certifications including UL, CE, FCC, CCC, and other international safety standards
• Work closely with manufacturing, SMT, QA, sourcing, and supply chain teams to support NPI and production ramp-up
• Monitor project schedules, engineering milestones, and technical deliverables
• Lead and mentor engineering teams to strengthen technical capability and team performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of experience in power supply design and development, including at least 3 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC switching power supplies, adapters, chargers, transformers, and power conversion technologies
• Familiar with Flyback, LLC, Forward, Half-Bridge, Full-Bridge, and DC/DC converter topologies
• Solid understanding of analog/digital circuit design, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and magnetic components
• Experience with international safety certifications and compliance requirements
• Familiar with OEM/ODM manufacturing operations and NPI processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proficient in engineering design and simulation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multinational electronics manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with consumer electronics, industrial power, or smart device applications
• Experience managing overseas engineering or factory teams
• Knowledge of SMT, PCBA, and manufacturing process optimization
• Proficiency in local languages (Spanish for Mexico / Vietnamese for Vietnam) is a plus
