System Software Architect

Responsibilities

· Design and develop secure system software and software architecture for cyber security products and solutions.

· Define software architecture, evaluate technologies, and ensure scalable, reliable and maintainable system designs.

· Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

· Review software designs, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive continuous improvements in system performance and security.

· Mentor engineers, promote software engineering best practices, and contribute to technical planning and project execution.

Requirements

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with minimum 8 years of experience in software development and also in a software architecture / software technical lead role in new product development projects.

· Strong experience in system software development using C/C++ on embedded Linux or embedded platforms.

· Good understanding of software architecture, operating systems, networking, and secure software design principles.

· Experience leading technical projects and working with cross-functional engineering teams.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a passion for developing high-quality software solutions

· Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be Singapore Citizens and able to meet the requirements for government security clearance.
