R & D STAFF
Summary
Develops and tests new food products for an agribusiness, running experiments on ingredients and formulations while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Responsible for supporting research and development activities to create and improve food products, ensuring quality, safety, and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Conduct research and experiments on new ingredients, product formulations, and processing methods.
* Develop and optimize prototypes of food products according to project briefs and market demands.
* Perform sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies on new and existing products.
* Document all research findings, experimental procedures, and product specifications accurately.
* Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launch.
* Stay updated on industry trends, food science advancements, and regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshoot product development issues and propose effective solutions.
* Assist in scaling up laboratory-developed products to pilot and commercial production.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in R&D within the food industry, preferably in poultry or processed food.
* Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing principles.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and experimental design skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in using laboratory equipment and data analysis tools.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
