R&D Test Team Manager

Responsibilities:

Operation:
• Lead the plan, development, and implementation of major project and system test activities(release test as well as AE engagements);
• Manage that planned tests have been executed in time in accordance with project release plan;
• Manage the selection, development and deployment of test frameworks and tools;
• Develops and maintains strong partnerships with internal and external partners to openly refine team’s vision, leverage process, framework, tools, technologies and ideas;
• Administrate test equipment utilization actively to make sure the highest up-time and utilization rate;
People:
• Hire, develop, and motivate a group of talent engineers with diversified backgrounds (semiconductor test domain and software engineering knowledge);
• Brew an innovative culture of tolerating different ideas and encouraging people solving problem creatively;
• Coach and mentor the team to adhere with disciplines and achieve the mature level with excellent technical competency and professional collaboration skills under multi-culture environment;
Business:
• Develop & roll-out a good & efficient overall SW test strategy
• Be accountable for sufficient test have been developed and executed until product achieve the defined quality goal;
• Catch up with Wave of STS and Advanced Technology. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of test to drive the continual improvement of test strategy;
• Take into consideration of internal and external customer feedback to enhance test coverage;
