Racquet Court Maintenance Technician

Babcock National Golf Club, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Racquet Court Maintenance Technician! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. • Maintains tennis and pickleball courts
• Always maintains correct playability and appearance of all court services
• Maintain clay courts as needed
• Maintain the maintenance equipment and always keep it in good working condition
• Inspect all tennis and racquet areas daily
• Responsibility for ensuring the cleanliness of the tennis and racquet areas. Removal of garbage as required. and ensure awnings look good
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, federal laws, and club policies
• Other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Director of Sports and Fitness.

• Must have the ability to balance multiple projects and have strong project and time management skills. Must possess high attention to detail
• Must display an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take direction, and exercise good judgment. Must have the ability to reason and apply common-sense understanding to situations encountered
• Must have authority to reason and apply common sense understanding to situations encountered
• Must have a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills to communicate and work well with employees at all levels within the organization and maintain all information in the strictest of confidence. Must use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others
• Ability to read, write, and compose documents in the appropriate business style using correct grammar and spelling; communicate clearly using proper grammar and diction over the telephone
• The physical demands of this position are representative of those that might be met by an employee for them to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday and having the ability to transport fifty (50) pounds and raking and shoveling.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or in the pursuit thereof required.
  
• Prior experience in court and clay court maintenance is preferred.
