Radiation Therapist Oncology

• Location: Chicago, IL
• Facility: Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital
• Department: Radiation Therapy
• Schedule: Day shift | PRN | 8 hour | No weekend or holidays.

• Administer precise radiation therapy in close collaboration with physicians to ensure targeted and effective treatments for every patient.
• Operate and maintain advanced treatment equipment to capture high-quality images and deliver safe, accurate care.
• Document therapy sessions and patient progress to maintain accurate clinical records and support seamless care coordination.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized clinical environment to provide a comforting and secure space for patients during their healing journey.
  

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
