Join our RAN Planning & Design team and help shape how people experience mobile connectivity in Greece.
About The Role
You will work for two of Greece’s largest mobile network operators and be end-to-end accountable for the radio network in your designated area.
You will be responsible for all radio design activities, from planning and rollout through upgrades and optimisation, with a direct impact on coverage, capacity and quality as 5G expands and the network evolves.
You will have the opportunity to explore and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art mobile communication technologies.
What You Will Do
- Take end-to-end accountability for radio network design and planning in your designated area, across all activities, delivering measurable improvements in coverage, quality, service performance and customer experience for Vodafone and Nova
- Design jointly for both networks in sharing areas, ensuring maximum performance objectives for both networks and optimal use of resources
- Plan and prioritise new sites rollout following network needs and customer deployment strategy
- Drive network upgrades and modernisation in your area, and contribute to optimisation initiatives and the introduction of new technologies, such as LTE advanced features and 5G
- Monitor network performance and turn the data into clear, practical design decisions
- Maintain a regular field presence in your area, building first-hand knowledge of the network and the customer experience (CX) to inform your design decisions
- Effectively interact with all involved stakeholders and the projectized company structure
Requirements
What You Will Bring?
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of GSM, LTE and 5G technologies
- Hands-on experience with radio planning tools (Forsk Atoll preferable)
- Good understanding of radio network design, planning and dimensioning principles
- Familiarity with radio parameters, features and key performance indicators
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Enthusiasm, strong ownership and a strong customer focus
- Willingness to carry out regular field visits within your assigned area
- Experience with Huawei RAN equipment
